ABOUT

WE ARE
RecycleScan is an app created by The Plastic Project. The Plastic Project is a student led project started near Seattle, Washington. We aim to tackle pollution and promote an eco-friendly lifestyle by equipping communities with resources using technology like the RecycleScan app. We wanted to create a user- and data-driven solution that would empower users to live more sustainability and leverage the power of emerging AI technologies.

We are working alongside neighborhood associations, schools, partner organizations, city officials, and others to spread our solution across our community and the larger global community. We hope to get more people recycling regularly so we can minimize pollution and landfill usage and start the transition towards a greener world.
